Job Position: Pool Service Technician
Location: Bakersfield, CA 93312
Pay Rate: $17.00
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Responsibilities:
Show up for work every day on time and ready to perform duties.
Drive the company truck safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
Report all accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately to the Service Manager.
2. On-Site Pool Maintenance:
Close all gates securely upon entering and exiting properties.
Thoroughly net and brush pools and spas to remove debris.
Empty all pump baskets, skimmer baskets, and cleaner bags.
Check and ensure pool cleaners are working properly.
Backwash D.E. And sand filters as needed.
Balance water chemistry, including testing and adjusting pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels.
Verify that time clocks are in the correct "time out"mode when necessary.
3. Communication and Problem-Solving:
Proactively call the Service Manager if questions or uncertainties arise during a service visit.
Clearly document all services performed and any issues requiring follow-up or additional repairs.
4. Customer Service:
Interact courteously and professionally with clients to address questions and provide updates.
Ensure all work areas are clean and organized before leaving the property.
5. Safety and Compliance:
Handle pool chemicals safely and responsibly, following company procedures.
Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent injuries or property damage.
Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent. -Valid driver s license with a clean driving record. -No prior pool maintenance experience is required training will be provided to help you succeed in this role. -Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability. -Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. -Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills are a plus but not required. Physical Requirements: -Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 60 lbs.). -Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing. -Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment: This position involves working outdoors, often in hot or inclement weather, and requires interaction with chemicals and water.
