Job Title: Plumber I, Residential Sale Technician
Location: Bakersfield, CA 93309
Hours: Full-Time;Temp to Hire
Wage Range: $17-$20/hr. DOE

Zip Appliance Repair & Service is a leading provider of appliance repair solutions in the
Bakersfield area. With a commitment to excellence, we are expanding our services to include skilled
Plumbers.
Responsibilities:
As a Plumbing Sales Technician I at Zip Appliance Repair & Service, you will play a critical role
in our team. Your daily duties will include:
Performing Repairs: You will be responsible for repairing waste, water, and gas systems, ensuring
they function smoothly and efficiently.
Handling Drain Stoppages: Addressing drain stoppages promptly to prevent disruptions and
inconvenience for our customers.
Installing Water Heaters/Tankless Systems: Expertly installing and maintaining water heating
systems, including tankless options, to meet our customers' needs.
Re-piping Homes: Taking on the crucial task of re-piping homes as necessary, ensuring the safety
and functionality of plumbing
Routine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conducting routine maintenance checks and
troubleshooting plumbing issues to identify and resolve problems promptly. Other duties as assigned
such appliance repair, troubleshooting, and installation assistance
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in residential plumbing.
Valid CA driver's license.
Excellent Communication Skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with both customers
and team members.
Having the necessary tools of the trade is essential.
Experience in Drain Cleaning: Proficiency in drain cleaning techniques.
Ability to Handle Physical Workload: Plumbing can be physically demanding, and you should be
prepared for the physical aspects of the job.
Strong Commitment to Providing Excellent Customer Service: Ensuring customer
satisfaction is a top priority.
Positive and Proactive Attitude: A can-do attitude and proactive approach to
problem-solving are highly valued.
