Job Title: Class A Driver- Heavy Equipment Operator
Wage: $29-$32/hr. DOE
Job Description: Position summary: Performs any combination of the following tasks including loading, unloading, and pumping kill fluids. Heavy Equipment Operator
Tasks:
? Investigates problem and undertakes remedial actions when possible or immediately informs superiors.
? Keeps supervisory informed of all actions and seek advice on major issues.
? Have basic knowledge of route following process.
? Have knowledge of how to tow and back equipment using a spotter.
? Able to lift hose that have varied weights over the shoulder on a regular basis.
? Climb in and out of VAC truck that is at least two feet from the ground.
? Work with a crew of 2-3 other team members and perform multiple physical tasks.
? Cool tubing pump
Job Summary:
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating various types of heavy machinery to support oil field operations, including site preparation, road building, rig moves, and maintenance. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and coordination with field crews.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in rig moves and setting up drilling or production sites.
Perform site grading, trenching, and excavation for pipelines or foundations.
Load and unload materials and equipment.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Communicate with supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment use and maintenance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Valid driver s license (CDL may be required).
Low Bed, equipment mover
No Automatic restriction- Class A with tanker endorsement
Certification or training in heavy equipment operation (NCCER or equivalent preferred).
Minimum 1 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in oil and gas or construction.
Knowledge of oil field safety standards (e.G., H2S awareness, OSHA, PEC Safeland).
Ability to work in remote locations and in extreme weather conditions.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and work long shifts.
Work Conditions:
Potential for extended hours, including nights and weekends.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
Start Date: ASAP
Time: 6: 00AM-3: 30PM--;10 plus hours a day, Monday-Friday, weekends may be required too.
