Heavy Duty Truck & Agricultural Equipment Mechanic
$23 $25 per hour (DOE;higher pay possible based on experience)
Temp-to-hire (Full-Time Position)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM
Saturdays as needed
Position Overview
We are seeking an additional Heavy Duty Truck & Agricultural Equipment Mechanic, with the focus being on heavy-duty type trucks and carrot harvesters.
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will assist the department Lead Person and Assistant Manager by performing the required maintenance and repairs of agricultural equipment. This person will be responsible for performing maintenance work such as inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing routine repair tasks on carrot harvesters and other heavy equipment.
This person will be expected to support and follow Company safety policies as well as other policies. Assignments must be performed according to specified instructions, expected time limits, and required quality standards in both shop and field environments. This person will ensure that all equipment is safely operating at optimum condition.

Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and agricultural equipment
Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform routine repair tasks on carrot harvesters and other heavy equipment
Complete assignments within specified instructions and time limits
Maintain required quality standards in shop and field environments
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Ensure equipment operates safely and at optimum condition
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 2 years of previous experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance
Preferred:
3 years of hydraulic experience
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on agricultural equipment
