Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Auto/Truck Mechanic to support day-to-day maintenance and repair operations for a diverse fleet. This position involves working on light and heavy-duty vehicles, semi-trucks, trailers, gas and diesel vehicles, as well as diesel-powered forklifts and electric carts (golf carts).
The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically skilled, and comfortable diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and completing routine preventive maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on light and heavy-duty vehicles, semi-trucks, and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Service gas and diesel engines, including engine components and systems
- Repair and maintain differentials, starters, motors, and charging systems
- Service automotive air conditioning systems
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support other mechanics as needed in daily operations
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience as an auto and/or diesel mechanic
- Experience working with light and heavy-duty vehicles preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Or more
- Valid California Driver s License
- Must pass a drug test
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Schedule / Hours
- Monday Friday
- 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM
- Saturdays as needed
