Job Position: Laborer/Delivery Driver
Location: Bakersfield, CA 93308
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday Friday 7am-3: 30pm
Description: Position: Shop Helper (Laborer/Delivery Driver)
Job Duties:
Assist in the organization and maintenance of the shop area.
Clean and prepare work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Aid in the shipping and receiving of parts and supplies.
Perform basic tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying relevant personnel when supplies are low.
Load and strap equipment/ materials onto trailers and deliver to mobile job sites
Provide tools and set up equipment
Operate a forklift to transfer materials and organize pallets
Set up safety railing and mobilize office trailers
Additional information:
Valid DL required
Steel toe boots and jeans required (client will provide work shirt and all PPE)
Must be comfortable hauling trailers while driving
Forklift Certified (Preferred - the client is willing to training needed)
Must be 21 years or older (Due to company vehicle insurance purposes)
EEs will meet at the shop and drive the company vehicle to make deliveries (The client indicated that they have several job sites out of town)
The client holds weekly safety meetings every Friday at 7am (Visits welcomed)
Some job sites will require EE to work at heights Fall protection training provided by the client
