Job Position: Field Service Technician
Location: Bakersfield, CA 93309
Rate: $20.00/hr.
Shift: Full-Time
The Field Service Appliance Repair Sales Technician is responsible for repair and preventative
maintenance service for residential and commercial appliances. The appliance repair technician is
responsible for diagnosis of equipment problems and repair. This is a commission-based technical sales
position that requires providing estimates for labor, parts, and other materials needed to complete
installations and repairs after a job estimate is approved and paid. The appliance repair technician will
interact with customers and receive payments for services rendered. The appliance repair technician will
travel to residential and commercial locations as assigned.
Job Duties:
Repair and install major household appliances
Perform rouOne preventaOve maintenance
Interact positively with customers
Document work order notes
Track parts and supplies
Received payments and deposited cash and checks
Maintain a clean driving record
Requirements:
Previous experience or education required (refrigerator, stoves, dishwashers, washing
machines and dryer preferred)
Familiar with tools and equipment
Valid driver s license
Able to 1O to 50 lbs.
Must pass background and drug test
Ability to use MS Office & Google Docs
Ability to use iPad and smart cell phone
High school diploma required
