Our client is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to work at a cement plant in Tehachapi, CA. The operator will be responsible for safely operating a 110-ton swing cab heavy crane to lift and move materials, as well as operating 15-ton fixed cab cranes as needed. This role requires precision, strong safety awareness, and prior experience in an industrial or plant environment.

Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to work at a cement plant in Tehachapi, CA. The operator will be responsible for safely operating a 110-ton swing cab heavy crane to lift and move materials, as well as operating 15-ton fixed cab cranes as needed. This role requires precision, strong safety awareness, and prior experience in an industrial or plant environment.
Job Responsibilities
Safely operate a 110-ton swing cab heavy crane to lift, move, and position materials within a cement plant environment
Operate 15-ton fixed cab cranes as required to support plant and project operations
Perform pre-operation inspections and routine equipment checks
Follow load charts, hand signals, and established lifting procedures at all times
Communicate effectively with ground personnel and supervisors to coordinate lifts
Maintain compliance with crane safety standards, MSHA regulations, and company policies
Identify and report equipment issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately
Assist with rigging and securing loads when required
Maintain a clean and organized work area around crane operations
Qualifications
NCCCO or NCCER Certification (required)
Proven experience operating a 110-ton crane
Ability to operate 15-ton cranes
Strong knowledge of crane safety procedures
MSHA Certification (preferred)
Class A Driver s License (required)
Schedule / Hours
7 days per week
10 12 hour shifts
Start Date
February 1, 2026
Special Notes
Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug Screening
No travel time compensation
Must comply with all plant safety and site requirements
