Job Description
We are seeking experienced Structural Fitters to perform layout, fitting, and assembly of structural steel components. This role requires strong fitting and welding skills to fabricate steel structures according to shop drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Layout and fit steel sub-assemblies, beams, columns, trusses, and other structural members
Assemble completed structures or structural frameworks per shop drawings and specifications
Perform structural welding duties as needed
Operate welding and fitting equipment safely and efficiently
Perform repairs and adjustments as required
Current welding certification (AWS preferred)
Experience in structural fitting and welding
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings
Ability to pass welding and fitting tests
Valid driver s license
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
Ability to pass physical examination and drug test
Ability to pass welding and fitting tests
Work Schedule
Monday Friday
Standard shift: 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PM (hours may vary)
Hiring for swing shift: 2: 00 PM 10: 30 PM (+$2/hr premium)
